I recently was able to get up on the Kolob Terrace section of Zion National Park. It was a balmy 73 degrees, breezy and overcast. Absolutely gorgeous!! In the lower elevations, it’s already mid summer with temperatures seeing past 100 degrees almost daily. However up on the mountain, where it’s over 9,000 feet above sea level, it’s still Spring!! I found this beautiful flower that I had never seen before, so I started taking photos of it. While I was doing that, a bee decided to stop by and pollinate the flower I was photographing. Talk about a one in a million flowers, right? I only found out today that the flower is a Robertson’s Geranium (Geranium Robertsonii) (with a little help from a bee.) Enjoy!
