When Seasons Collide

The weather has been a rollercoaster the past few weeks. Moving from summer to first fall, then first winter and then to second fall . Yes, if you don’t like the weather, wait a few hours…

The past few days have been cold and raining, with snow in the higher elevations. All of this culminated in the photos I took yesterday with my phone as I was going to lunch. Enjoy!

Falling Leaves

I’m going through photos of my most recent jaunt up Zion Canyon shooting fall colors, and I found this gem of some leaves flowing down the creek below Weeping Rock.  I hope you enjoy it.

Gallery Updates

On the advice from a fellow blogger, I organized my galleries to be subject specific.  There is a new gallery for Bryce Canyon National Park (I realize I need to post more photos of this beautiful place), Grand Canyon National Park, and of course, my beloved Zion National Park.  I also posted galleries for flowers and birds, with a gallery for Ancient Art, Arizona, and Other Animals in the works.

Enjoy the images! Remember, they are all available for purchase.  Contact me for details.

The Road Less Traveled

Have you asked yourself lately where you want to be? At work? Home? In the desert or mountains?

Sometimes I’d just like to curl up next to a roaring fire with a good book and a steaming mug of hot chocolate. But my first choice would be out in nature, either in the mountains or desert. It’d have to be the desert this time of year because of snow in the mountains.

But my favorite place to be is where few others go: The Road Less Traveled, because there are things to see there that are just too beautiful to describe.

Have a great day and enjoy your road less traveled.

Love the Fall Colors

Yes, it’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been busy with work in beautiful Zion National Park. However, today I took some time to go into the mountains to get photos of the fall colors. I went up to the Kolob Terrace of Zion National Park and up to the lake.

I took many photos of the changing leaves and the lake, and even saw a bald eagle, which is rare. I tried to capture photos of it, but it was too fast. Anyway, thought I’d share a photo of today’s excursion.
