Website update

It’s been a couple of weeks since I last posted. A lot has happened since then. I left the big city of Las Vegas, Nevada, and moved to paradise: Zion National Park! I’m enjoying the peace and tranquility, seeing mule deer, wild turkeys and many varieties of birds.

I’ve also completed a major update to my website www.kellyguymon.com. I’ve added several new photographs in each category and also added a gallery for Bryce Canyon NP. I’ve also changed the sizes available to be from a 16×20 to a 40×50 and sizes in between. You can use the Order Form on my website to order prints. Just remember to include the name/number of the photograph, size, color of mat, color of frame, and whether you want a metal or wood frame. Each piece is fully customizable and if you don’t see the photo you’re looking for, let me know and I’ll see if it’s in my library.

Finally coming together

It took some doing, but I finally got my website updated and I am very happy with the layout. Instead of trying to have a buy button under every single photograph, I decided to add an order form page where you can put the title, size and other requests like canvas, print, matted or stand alone, etc. It also allows you to schedule a portrait sitting with date, time, location, etc. I also have a comments page/guestbook where you can give suggestions and comments about the site. Later I am thinking of adding a newsletter. Thoughts and comments on that also would be appreciated.

Enjoy your day,

Kelly

Springing Forward

Spring is one of my favorite times of the year, I guess it’s because of the newness of life, like spring flowers, fruit trees blooming and such (watch out for allergies).

It’s also warmer outside, at least here in Vegas where it was up to 80 this past week, but since cooled off. This means more opportunities for getting out to shoot some photographs. Yes, my day job work is picking up so I haven’t been able to get out like I want to, but I’ll just have to schedule it in.

I have updated the portrait page on my website, which still needs a lot of updating, and I just haven’t been able to get there for a while.

Below is one of my favorite flowers from the desert, Golden Columbine. You normally wouldn’t associate this flower with the desert, but it flourishes by springs and streams. This photo is available in print and frame from www.kellyguymon.com either as a print unmatted 8×10 for $40 or framed and matted in different sizes from 8×10 to 38×36; price varies on size.
