It’s been snowing since last night. We have well over a foot of snow, and it’s still snowing. There’s a winter storm warning until 9:00am tomorrow. The road past the Lodge is closed and the East side of Zion NP is closed, as are the Kolob Terrace and Kolob Canyons.
I took these on my way to lunch today. Enjoy!
It’s been snowing almost every day this past weekend, dropping about 3-4″ of new snow each day. Yesterday morning was clear and beautiful! Major snowstorm tonight, expecting another 6″-18″ or more.
Spending some time in Grand Canyon for work, I just had to get out to the rim for sunset. Here is what I found at Mather Point:
